PBA’s New Lake Surface-Excavator Called Weedoo

Palm Beach Aquatics is proud to announce the introduction of an environmentally safe way to tackle the removal of floating lake scum debris, along with aquatic weed removal and control in Wellington, West Palm Beach, Royal Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Loxahatchee, Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter as well as many other areas of Florida

In its continued efforts towards environmental stewardship, Palm Beach Aquatics has catapulted itself into a new realm of service that will help maintain the health and aesthetics of your lake using the latest green technology. Our new lake surface-excavator, affectionately named “the Weedoo” propels itself through clean battery power while it employs an electric conveyor belt and an automatic bagging system to remove weeds and scum from your lakes and ponds… and better yet, our biodegradable debris bagging material ensures that the future environmental footprint of this service will be minimized. This service will enhance your lake ecosystems in many ways. First and foremost, lake aesthetics will be instantly improved as scum and debris is removed and will not be able to settle to the bottom of your lake where they would add unwanted nutrients to your lake that could lead to the unnatural aging of your lakes called eutrophication. Better yet, our Weedoo will help limit your lake’s exposure to chemicals and will use no dirty energy sources like gasoline or oil in the weeds, scum and debris removal process
